Description
Magnivore gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Car… was one of the first cards I ever played with. This artwork reminded me a bit of that, plus I wanted to use the new bloodrush mechanic. Tell me what you think.

My approach to card making is art oriented more than anything else because that's what first drew me to the game. When designing a card, my objective is to balance flavor and utility in such a way that it fits into the game seamlessly and would be fun to actually play with.

I’m a perfectionist at heart, so I gladly welcome any suggestions you have. All of these cards are WIPs (works in progress). But please try to keep your feedback constructive and don’t argue with me TOO much because I’ll stick to my guns on some points. Also keep in mind this is not a cohesive set. It’s a series of cards doing homage to the artists I admire. Therefore many of them are rares and mythics, and not 50 cent ones either.

This looks like a normal Lhurgoyf with Bloodrush tacked on. Everything on this card is Green: Bloodrush is green, Goyf is green (at least creature relevant goyf abilities are green) Trample, Haste (sometimes, but especially at mythic), all of them green.
Where is the red coming from? There is Red on this card, but it doesn't look like it actually needs it. Yes, half the abilities on this card are red. But those same abilities are also green, and all the non red mechanics are also green. To me this looks like you made it red just because you were excited to design a bloodrush card. I'd suggest dropping the monogreen abilities (trample, creatures in graveyards) and making the card hybrid rather than gold, or tacking on a different, red goyf ability, either lands or sorceries.
